Matteo and Ellie Gaffo licensed landscape architects with over 20 years of combined experienced. Both graduates of accredited Landscape Architecture program at California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, they currently reside in North County San Diego.

Matteo’s background is in Agronomy studied in Padova Italy while working at his family plant nursery in Montebelluna Italy. He then relocated to Leed, United Kingdom where he pursued his post graduate degree in Landscape Architecture at LEEDS Metropolitan University. It was during this time he traveled to California as a foreign exchange student to attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and met his wife Ellie in a studio class.

Ellie’s background is in Fine Arts. She completed her AA degree at Mesa College San Diego where she studied art and later transferred to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo to pursue her Landscape Architecture degree. During her time in college she worked with local Landscape Designer Linda Shotwell in residential design.

Matteo and Ellie work for reputable firms in San Diego and have experience with Multifamily, Model Homes, Mixed-use, Retail, Commercial, Parks, and Educational projects.
